THE TECHNOLOGY OF AFFORESTATION ON SLOP LANDS BY CONTAINER SOWING OF COMMON OAK

Ya.І. Krilov

Abstract

The results of technology for developing experimental plantations with common oak on eroded ravine-beam land with sowing oak containers are observed. Growth of oak seedlings, sown in central plots, was estimated to be 37.3 % higher than at the height of the peripheral seedlings, due to the phenomenon of self-goad. The application of the developed technology of sowing oak container to create protective forest plantations in the ravine slopes and ravines showed good survival rate of growth and oak stairs compared with conventional technologies creating forest cultures.
