ADAPTATION OF ELM (ULMUS LAEVIS PALL.) TO CONDITIONS IN VIVO

Abstract


Last microclonal stage of reproduction – phased adaptation of plant-regenerants of smooth elm (Ulmus laevis Pall.) to the substrate in covered ground conditions is studied. The influence of the nutrition area on the course of the processes that take place during the transition of plants from aseptic to non-aseptic conditions established its influence on biometric indicators regenerants. The strategy designed to smooth elm (Ulmus laevis Pall.) contributes to the long-term conservation of elite genotypes, and also provides an approach to improving conservation of other species that are threatened with extinction.
