The Spatial Analysis of Processes of Greenhouse Gases Flow and Emission in Lublin Province Forestry

Some approaches to the development of geographic information technologies for the analysis of flow and emissions of greenhouse gases in the forestry on the example of Lublin region, Poland, using the method recommended by the IPCC, are studied. The results of modelling phytomass stands of timber producing species and deposited carbon depending on the species, and also age class are presented. A multilayer digital forest map of Lublin province is charted. Database to estimate the accumulated carbon and greenhouse gas emissions in elementary forest areas as a result of economic activity and other factors is formed.
