Abstract

The main types of trees, bushes, shrubs and herbaceous plants that are included into the diet for the European deer during the year in the forests of Zhytomyr Polissya were defined. The transfer value of the coefficient of 137Cs from the soil to the phytomass of aerial parts to feed and forest plants, as an indicator that shows the value of their radioactive contamination, was shown. The grouping of the plants according to their intensity accumulation of 137Cs in different seasons was done and the main of them that cause to the radioactive contamination of European deer, were identified.
