MODELING SALINE SOILS SUBSIDENCE IN KALUSH INDUSTRIAL AREA

Abstract


In today's economic situation housing construction is developing at a superfast pace. Reducing the amount of land suitable for building motivates developers to use structurally unstable soils, in particular saline soils. The purpose of the paper is the creation of simplified mathematical models to estimate the risk of saline soils subsidence. The chemical composition of saline soils is analysed. Based on these results, the main group of the salts is highlighted and a conditional separation on grounds monosalinization and polisalinization is carried out. The concept of a simplified mathematical modeling of soil subsidence as a result of leaching of the cases of monosalinization and polisalinization is proposed.
