THE INTELLECTUAL SUPPORT OF DECISION-MAKING IN THE NATURAL RESOURCES CONTROL UNDER UNCERTAIN CONDITIONS

Abstract


A topical issue is the preservation of ecologically clean areas, and no less important is the question of flood forecasting in Ukraine today. To address this issue we offer the method of modeling of soil through the application of artificial neural networks and the system of intellectual decision support based on the results of forecasting water levels in rivers. The computer system is based on the method of mathematical models building using genetic algorithms. The use of genetic algorithms ideas for building mathematical models makes it possible both to choose the optimal structure for an adequate model and also to significantly reduce the number of calculations when the models are iterated.
