PHYTOTOXICITY OF FOREST SOIL UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF SOIL POLLUTION

N.N. Grynchyshyn

Abstract

The phytotoxicity of contaminated soil by laboratory testing of brown and gray forest soils using Sinapus alba test culture is investigated. The phytotoxic effect of different concentrations of oil in the soil in the root and shoot of the plant is determined. The impact of granulometric composition of soils on their phytotoxicity is shown. The levels of phytotoxicity for brown and gray forest soils contaminated with oil are established. The results of testing can be used for diagnosing of phytotoxicity brown and gray forest soils contaminated by accidental oil spills.
