Abstract

The article presents some results of modelling local density of live biomass components of stem of Scots pine trees in Zalissya State Residence. Longitudinal variation of local natural and base density of components of live biomass of Scots pine stems in immature, mature and overmature stands is researched. It has been found that the obtained mean values of local natural and base density indices of live biomass components of stem of Scots pine trees correspond to the general tendencies of change of this index along with relative height, but they differ from the ones highlighted in the dedicated scientific literature.
