Abstract

Investigation results of growth and development of the hazelnut (Corylus domestica Kosenko et Opalko) vegetative parts subject to the temperature conditions are given. It was developed that such varieties as Dohidniy, Losivskiy bulavovydniy, Dar Pavlenka and Shedevr turned out to be the most available for cultivation in the conditions of the Right bank Forest Steppe zone of Ukraine. Moreover, these varieties had a lot of others good indexes, that's why we considered them as the best one as for the economic efficiency in this growing conditions. Such varieties as Shedevr, Dohidniy, Losivskiy bulavovydniy and Dar Pavlenka are temperature independent, that's why we can say about the higher level of their nonspecific resistance. The biggest growth of the overhead part was observed for such varieties as Dar Pavlenka and Dohidniy (Ukrainian breeding). At the same time presented varieties such as Trapezund (Turkish breeding), Futkurami (Georgian breeding) and Cherkeskiy-2 (Adygei breeding) had the smaller indexes and it affected the productivity.
