Abstract

The concept of determining estimates of CASE-tools for the design and development of software systems through the application of a one-parameter model of modern measurement theory IRT. The characteristic features of CASE tools and their capabilities for designing software systems. We have examined the characteristics of CASE-tools and their capabilities for designing software systems. Developed and recommended the use of the method of statistical measurement with a one-parameter Rasch model to determine the grade of CASE-tools.
